Cape Town, October 2009: Nine month
old Miniature Bull Terrier, Lusahn Tiny Morris, a.k.a. Morris
Minor had a big day out showing for the first time at both the
Breede River Dog Show and the Western Province Bull Terrier
Club Show held this month in Milnerton, Cape Town.
Morris, bred in South Africa by Lusahn Kennels, is the pup of
CH Little Chili Peppers Pole Position of Galloway of Lusahn
(Eddy) and CH Double Dutch From Friar's Point of Lusahn
(Deedee).
A friendly and enthusiastic young one,
Morris started the day out well winning his first Championship
Certificate and Best of Breed and Best Puppy at the Breede
River Dog Show.
He then had some time out to get a hug
from his proud person, Avril Cronje… … and, to reunite with his brother, Storm
who came to watch the show.
In the afternoon, it was back into the
ring to represent the Miniature Bull Terrriers at the Western
Province Bull Terrier Show – the first time his breed has
competed again Standards in a specialist show. Seasoned
Bull Terrier Judge, Mr Dirk Rupping of Narciano Bull Terriers
in Sasolburg was impressed with this lovely pup, awarding him
Best Mini Bull Terrier Puppy and Best Mini Bull Terrier Junior
Dog as well as another CC. Morris competed for Best of Breed, which
was won by the more experienced CH April Snow of New Galloway
of Lusahn a.k.a. April (left).

He also made history by competing against
the Best Bull Terrier Standard Puppy, Lily, also of Lusahn
Kennels. Lily may have taken top honours in the category
but Morris made a very impressive start to his show
career. |
