This book is sub-titled “Everything about Purchase, Care, Nutrition, Behaviour and Training” and it offers a wonderfully comprehensive overview of the Bull Terrier.  The author has a wealth of experience in breeding and showing, and especially in writing about Bull Terriers.

The book is lavishly illustrated with lots of beautiful colour photographs of so many different Bull Terriers. It includes useful HOW-TO: sections and offers wise advice on the many aspects of living with Bull Terriers. It is a very practical book and caters for a popular readership. For example, it has a chapter on “Bully Stars” and no chapter on the Bull Terrier Breed Standard. Nonetheless it is a great all-round breed book and is an excellent buy for someone acquiring their first Bull Terrier. For the expert it is still worth having for the stunning pictures.
